Bazaar and second-hand market
What is the Bazaar?
Our bazaar is for everyone in the medieval community who has surplus items that they would like to get rid of.
We offer the possibility of having your items listed for sale with us and when a buyer wants the item, we send the money directly to the seller, regardless of whether it is sold at a market or via our webshop.
It doesn't matter if it's a cape that doesn't fit, new boots or 3 wooden plates that you no longer need. In many cases, excess equipment can be just what someone is missing.
Therefore, we provide a table, some hangers and some exhibition space for a medieval thrift shop that we take around from market to market.
So how does it work?
We accept good quality products that we think we can pass on. The products become part of our other range so that they can be purchased not just in a single market, but in all markets we visit, as well as here on our webshop.
What should you do?
If you have items you would like to bring to the bazaar, you can contact us at the markets or via our contact form here on the page . We just need to know how much you want for your item and how you want to be paid.
What do we do then?
We take some pictures of your items so they can be posted on our webshop. Here your item gets its own page so you can keep track of when your item is sold. After markets, we pack your items up and store them in our warehouse until the next market or until they are sold via the webshop.
Once the item is sold, we will settle the payment directly with you.
Free?
Yes. The primary focus for us is to make a lot of good things available to actors and guests in the medieval environment.
Of course, we have costs for the webshop and storage, so when we take things in for storage, we add a small percentage to the price. That way, we can cover some of our expenses without it costing the seller anything.
Why use the bazaar?
If you have a stall at a market or visit several markets, it obviously makes sense to have your own items for sale.
The bazaar can be used if you have things that don't fit in your stall or if you would like to have your things online but don't have a webshop yourself.
If you only go to a few markets during a season, it can also be an advantage to have things in the bazaar, because then your things will be seen in more markets and thus be seen by more potential customers.
- And as long as your things are in the Bazaar, you don't have to look after your stall yourself to get the things sold.
